Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
Overview
The ILT module manages scheduled face-to-face or virtual training sessions. Sessions appear in the Training Calendar and learner calendars.
Creating an ILT Session
- Navigate to Admin → ILT Sessions (
admin/ilt-sessions.php) - Click New Session
- Enter:
- Session title
- Date, start time, end time
- Location (room name, building, or virtual meeting URL)
- Maximum capacity
- Linked lesson or course (optional — used for progress tracking)
- Save — the session is now bookable by learners
Managing Enrolments
From the session management page:
- View who has booked
- Add learners directly (admin override of capacity)
- Remove a learner from the session
- Send a reminder email to all enrolled learners
Recording Attendance
After the session:
- Open the session → Attendance
- Mark each enrolled learner as: Attended, Absent — Excused, Absent — Unexcused, or Late
- Save — attendance is recorded and flows into cohort progress reporting
Training Calendar
Training Calendar (admin/training-calendar.php) shows all scheduled ILT sessions in a monthly view:
- Click a session to view details and manage enrolment
- Filter by date range, trainer, or location
- Learners see the same calendar in their Learner Training Calendar
