Course Catalog

The Course Catalog (catalog.php) lists all courses available on the platform:

  • Browse by category or search by course name
  • Click a course to see the full description, schedule, and enrolment information

Enrolling in a Course

  1. Open a course from the catalog
  2. Click Enrol
  3. The course appears in My Learning → My Courses

Enrolment status:

Status Meaning
Enrolled You are participating in the course
Completed You have finished all required elements
Withdrawn You have left the course

Following a Course

Once enrolled, access the course from your dashboard or My Learning → My Courses:

  • The course outline shows lessons, materials, and quizzes in sequence
  • Complete each item to unlock the next (if the educator has set sequential access)
  • Your progress percentage is shown on the course card

Training Calendar

The Training Calendar (learner/calendar.php) shows all your scheduled learning events in a monthly/weekly view:

  • ILT sessions — face-to-face or virtual instructor-led training bookings
  • Course start/end dates — key deadlines for enrolled courses
  • Cohort deadlines — completion targets set by your organisation

Export your calendar as an .ics file to import into Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar:

  • Go to Training Calendar → Export and download the .ics file

Learner Inbox / Task Inbox

The Learner Inbox (learner/inbox.php) is your task management centre. It shows work items assigned to you through the collection workflow engine:

  • Pending — tasks requiring your action
  • In Progress — tasks you have started working on
  • Completed — finished tasks
  • Snoozed — tasks deferred to a later date

Switch between list view and Kanban board view using the toggle at the top.

To snooze a task: click the task → Snooze → choose a date to resurface it.

Noticeboard

The class or organisation Noticeboard displays announcements from your educators and administrators:

  • Access from your class dashboard or My Learning → Noticeboard
  • Notices may have expiry dates — expired notices are hidden automatically
