Progress & Badges

The Learning Graph (learning-graph.php) gives you a visual overview of your engagement:

• Lessons viewed and subjects covered
• Activity timeline showing your learning days
• Subject distribution chart — which areas you have spent most time on
• Total lessons and materials completed

Access it from My Learning → Learning Graph.

Every lesson and material you open is recorded automatically. Your history is used to:

• Power the Skill Gap Report (gap analysis against your target role)
• Drive content recommendations
• Show educators your engagement in their analytics

Open Badges are digital credentials you earn by completing specific learning milestones.

• Go to My Learning → My Badges
• Each earned badge shows: name, criteria, date earned, and issuing organisation

• Click Share on any badge to get a public link
• The link goes to a publicly verifiable badge assertion — paste it into LinkedIn, email signatures, or CV
• Badge wallets (Badgr, Open Badge Passport) can import the assertion URL

Anyone with the badge link can verify it is genuine — the assertion is cryptographically signed by the issuing organisation.

Your public profile (learner/profile.php) shows:

• Earned badges
• Points total and learning streak
• Recent activity highlights

Share your profile link on LinkedIn or with employers to showcase your learning.

The Leaderboard (learner/leaderboard.php) ranks learners by points earned:

• All-time tab — cumulative ranking
• Monthly tab — this month only
• Your rank and points are highlighted in the list

Points are earned by: viewing lessons, completing quizzes, earning badges, and engaging with discussions.
