Structured curriculum management

Five-level hierarchy

Curriculum → Subject → Learning Objective → Lesson → Material. Align lessons to any framework — national standards, university programmes, professional qualifications, or internal training paths.

EKOS classification

Dual-axis classification: UDC subject domain (1,500-node taxonomy) and IFQ audience level (spanning 26 countries). AI pre-fills classification suggestions with confidence scores — educators confirm before any label is applied.

Content lifecycle

Draft → In Review → Published → Archived. Every status transition is logged to a content audit trail. Educators receive email notification when content is returned with feedback. Learner-facing views filter to Published only.

Automated availability checks

Nightly cron checks every published material URL. Broken or unavailable links are flagged automatically — no manual auditing. Annual staleness detection identifies AI-generated lessons referencing dead URLs.

AI enrichment and content pipeline

AI lesson notes

Structured Markdown notes generated per lesson: Overview, Key Points, Why This Matters, Suggested Next Steps, Sources. All AI output requires human approval. Every AI write logged with model, timestamp, and previous value for rollback.

Content injection API

Programmatic lesson and material creation via REST API. Rate-limited (30 requests/minute) with per-pipeline audit trail. Lessons created via API default to Draft status — cannot be published without human review.

AI Explain This

Learners activate “Explain This” on any published lesson — the platform calls Claude and returns a plain-language explanation inline. Available on all published lessons automatically with no educator configuration.

SCORM and xAPI interoperability

Export any lesson as SCORM 1.2 or 2004. Import SCORM manifests. Host SCORM content with a full API bridge. Export learning events as xAPI statements. Export lessons as cmi5-compliant packages.
